Pamela Denise Savage

Pamela Denise Savage passed away on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017.  She was 61.

Pamela was born in St. Louis and graduated from Ironton High School in Ironton in 1974. 

She continued her education at Mississippi University for Women, earning her degree in Political Science and her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Memphis State University. 

Pamela later worked for the National Hemophilia Foundation, Memphis Chapter before beginning her career with Shelby County Government. She served Shelby County as Manager for Risk Management for over 17 years. 

Pamela loved reading, rescuing cats, and traveling throughout the US and Europe. 

She and her husband, Malcolm retired to the Gulf and returned home nine years later. 

Pamela was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Frances Orr Raggo. 

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Malcolm David Savage; father and step-mother, Charles Raggo, Sr. and Faye; siblings, Valerie Lynn AuBuchon (Robert), Charles Joseph Raggo, Jr. and Leah Francine Davis. 

The services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 11 at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis TN.
