Eugenia Ialene Demand

Eugenia Ialene Demand of Arcadia passed away on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018. She was 92.

On April 19, 1925, Eugenia was born in Hogan, a daughter of the late Livingston and Alice Gilman Pearson.

Eugenia was united in marriage on June 26, 1946 to Joseph “D.D” Demand.

She is survived be three children, Joe and wife Sandy Demand of Lake St. Louis, Mike Demand of Arcadia, and Mary Beth Sayles of Arcadia; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Preceding Eugenia in death wer her parents, Livingston and Alice; her husband, Joseph; two brothers, Charles and Drew Pearson; six sisters, Lorene Pinkley, Eulah Sherrill, Grace Ray, Alma Gault, Marguerite McHenery, and Carrie Lee Gaydos.

Eugenia worked for the Arcadia School District as a bus driver and retired after 22 years. She also worked at the St. Marys Hospital in Ironton, and also worked at Brown Shoe.

Eugenia’s main hobby she liked to enjoy was bowling. She was a member of Ste. Marie Du Lac Catholic Church in Ironton. Visitation for Eugenia will be held on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cole Family Chapel.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 starting at 10 a.m. from Ste. Marie Du Lac Catholic Church.

Interment will be held in Arcadia Valley Memorial Park.
