Deloris June Fitzgerald 

Deloris June Fitzgerald formerly of Imboden, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 in Chesterfiel.  She was 81.

She was born April 9, 1937 in Imboden, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Edna Mae (Nash) Lambert and Dorothy Lambert.

Deloris is survived by two children, David Fitzgerald and wife Opal of Middlebrook, and Sherry Lewis and husband, Mike of Eureka.  She is also survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Boring and husband Bob of Belleview; two brothers,  Norman “Bud” Lambert and wife Nadine of Imboden, Larry Lambert and wife Debbie, also of Imboden; six grandchildren, Heath Fitzgerald, Katrina Dunham, Daniel Fitzgerald, Cory Lewis, Brandi Fitzgerald, and Austin Lewis; 17 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Deloris was preceded in death by her husbands, Willis Fitzgerald and William Johnson; her son, Omen Wayne Fitzgerald; and her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Fitzgerald.

Deloris was a member of New Hope Baptist Church where she played the piano for 40 years.  She was an active participant in many church activities.  She worked as a beautician.

Funeral services were held on June 28, 2018 from Bryson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kennard Mayfield officiating. Visitation was on Wednesday evening from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Interment was in Chapman Cemetery.
