Three countians injured in three separate crashes

Annapolis man injured

An Annapolis man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 6:35 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 3, in Iron County.

Timothy J. Mayes, 19, received moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Iron County Medical Center in Pilot Knob, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred on Missouri Highway 49, two miles north of Annapolis.

According to the report, Mayes was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck northbound on the roadway, when he ran off the right side, overcorrected and overturned.

Mayes was wearing a seat belt.

 

Pilot Knob man injured 

in one-vehicle accident

A Pilot Knob man received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28 in Iron County.

John M. Bone, 25, was transported by medical helicopter to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred on Missouri Highway 21, four miles south of Arcadia. 

Bone was driving a 2004 Yamaha R6 southbound on the roadway when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right side of the road and overturned in a ditch, the report stated.

Bone was wearing a seat belt.

 

Belleview woman injured

A Belleview woman received minor injuries in a one vehicle crash that occurred at 5:25 a.m. on Thursday, August 30 in Iron County.

Elizabeth W. Via, 24, was taken by ambulance to Iron County Medical Center in Pilot Knob.

The accident occurred on Missouri Route O, two miles north of Belleview, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Via was driving a 2000 Nissan Xterra northbound on the roadway when she failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the left side of the road, struck an embankment, and overturned, the report stated.

She was wearing a seat belt.
