AV Middle School Cross Country medals at Cape Notre Dame meet

The Arcadia Valley Middle School Cross Country Teams competed in the Cape Notre Dame Meet on September 29. Alyssa Glanzer (left) got a 18th place medal and Savannah Boeving got a 21st place medal.

The Arcadia Valley Middle School Cross Country Teams competed in the Cape Girardeau Notre Dame Meet on September 29.

Stone Gill got his 3rd 1st place medal and his 4th medal of the season. He beat his last year’s 1st place time at the Cape Notre Dame Meet by 19 seconds. He earned his 1st trophy for finishing 1st. Dillon Mueller got a 14th place medal and his 4th medal of the season. Matt Ridlon got a 21st place medal and his 4th medal of the season.

Alyssa Glanzer got a 18th place medal and her 4th medal of the season. Savannah Boeving got a 21st place medal and her 3rd medal of the season.

The others were Wren Blount 44th place, Gavan Douglas 48th place, Ryan Ridlon 75th place, Lily Pursley 77th place, Hannah Henson 81st place, Kaydence Whited 122nd place, Colin Whited 123rd place, Mackienze Storie 132nd place, Hunter Myracle 134th place, Cooper Lorenz 136th place, Kolten Smith 137th place, Nolan Inman 181st place, and Brayden Whited 182nd place.

Coach Tiffany Brandel said, “The boys finished 4th overall with 17 teams competing. The girls were 9th overall with 12 teams competing. The course was a 3K course. I am very proud of the outstanding character our teams possess. I love how they all build each other up on our team. What I love even more is when they tell the other teams good luck at the start of each race and high-five kids at the end of each race. They make you really proud to be part of the AV School.”
