Arcadia woman seriously injured in one-car accident

An Arcadia woman was seriously injured in an accident in St. Francois County on Friday, September 28.

Breana L. Sikorski, 26, was taken by medical helicopter to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Sikorski was driving a 2008 Ford Focus northbound  on MO Highway 221 when the accident occurred north of Shy Road.

According to the report, the Focus traveled off the right side of the road, struck a culvert and several trees before overturning. The accident occurred at 1:30 a.m.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt, the report stated.

 

Bunker woman seriously injured in one-vehicle accident

A Bunker woman was seriously injured in an accident in Reynolds County on Saturday, September 29.

Marcia G. Dreiswewerd, 67, was taken by private vehicle to Salem Memorial Hospital, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at 6 p.m. on County Road 905, five miles northeast of Bunker.

Dreiswewerd was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound when it traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree, returned to the roadway, traveled off the right side, down an embankment and overturned, the report stated.

She was not wearing a seat  belt.

 

Ironton woman 

injured in crash

An Ironton woman received moderate injuries in a two-vehicle collision in St. Francois County at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, September 24.

Jennifer M. Smith, 37, was taken by ambulance to Parkland Health Center in Farmington, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred on Missouri Highway 221 at Henrich Road when a 2007 Toyota Camry, driven by Connor Z. Surgeon, 22, of Ironton, was headed north on Highway 221 lost control and started to spin.  The front of the Camry struck the front of southbound 2012 Dodge Journey, driven by Jennifer M. Smith.

Neither driver was wearing a seat belt, the report stated.

 

Belleview man receives minor injuries in accident

A Belleview man was slightly injured in a two car collision in St. Francois County on Monday, September 24.

According to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 6:45 a.m. on Missouri Highway 221, north of Henrich Road.

A 2009 Ford Focus, driven by Kendal F. Nolting, 19 of Fulton, was northbound on Highway 221 when she lost control of the vehicle, causing it to travel off the roadway.  Then the rear of her Focus struck the rear of a 2009 Dodge Caliber in a driveway.  

The driver of the Dodge, Joshua N. Mayberry, 39, of Belleview, received minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Parkland Health Center in Farmington.

Nolting was wearing a seat belt, but Mayberry was not, the report stated.

 

Annapolis teen receives minor injuries in crash

An Annapolis teenager was injured in a one-car crash at 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, in Iron County.

Courtney L. Warren, 17, received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Iron County Medical Center.

According to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol, Warren was driving a 2003 Ford Mustang westbound on Missouri Highway 72 at Lake Lake Killarney when she ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree and a utility pole.

She was wearing a seat belt, the report stated. 

 

Two-vehicle crash leads 

to minor injuries 

for an Ellington resident

A two-vehicle crash occurred on Missouri Highway 49, two miles south of Viburnum, on Saturday, September 22.

According to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 10 a.m.  

A 2001 Ford F250 driven by Donald R. Barton, 71 of Boss, was headed north on Highway 49 when it struck the rear of a 2016 Jeep Renegade driven by Terrance L. Whitchurch, 59, of Ellington, who was also headed north on the highway.

Both vehicles ran off the road and struck a tree.

Whitchurch received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Salem Memorial Hospital.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the report stated.
