Lady Tigers win MAAA tourney

The Arcadia Valley Lady Tigers Varsity Volleyball Team beat Central 25-21 and 25-11 to win the MAAA Conference Tournament on October 15 at Central.

This was the Arcadia Valley Lady Tigers’ 1st MAAA Conference Tournament championship win. They did not lose a set in the tournament.

The Lady Tigers have a 26-5-1 record against their toughest schedule yet. This is a school record for wins.

Maddie DeMent led in kills with 13, Katie Whited had 12, Josie Landrum and Laney Tucker had 5 each, and Kirsten Day had 4.

Josie Landrum led in digs with 21, Gracee Smith had 12, and Macey Browers had 10. Macey Browers led in assists with 22.

 

The Lady Tigers beat Ste. Genevieve 25-23 and 25-18 in the quarterfinals. Maddie DeMent led in kills with 12, Laney Tucker had 7, and Josie Landrum had 5. Katie Whited led in digs with 20, Gracee Smith had 12, and Macey Browers had 8. Macey Browers led in assists with 28.

Macey Browers led in service points with 11 and Mddie DeMent and Gracee Smith had 5 each. Laney Tucker had 2 blocked shots.

The Arcadia Valley Lady Tigers Varsity Volleyball Team beat Potosi and Fredericktown in Pool A Play in the MAAA Tournament on October 15t at J. D. Maguffee Gymnasium.

 

The Lady Tigers beat Potosi 25-11 and 25-11.

Josie Landrum was the Player of the Game. Laney Tucker led in kills with 7, Kirsten Day had 6, Maddie DeMent had 5, and Josie Landrum and Gracee Smith had 3 each. Macey Browers and Josie Landrun led in serves with 14 each, Laney Tucker and Katie Whited had 6 each, and Maddie DeMent had 5.

Laney Tucker and Maddie DeMent led in blocked shots with 2 each. Katie Whited led in digs with 10, Josie Landrum had 9, Gracee Smith had 7, and Maddie DeMent had 5. Macey Browers led in assists with 25. Katie Whited led in serve receives with 7, Josie Landrum had 5, and Maddie DeMent had 3.

Maddie DeMent led in blocked shots with 4 each. Katie Whited led in digs with 20, Macey Browers had 13 digs, and Josie Landrum had 9. Macey Browers led in assists with 25. Katie Whited, Josie Landrum, and Maddie DeMent led in serve receives with 6 each.
