Middle Brook man receives minor injuries

A Middle Brook man received minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Monday, January 14.

Matthew G. Morey, 25, was taken by private conveyance to Parkland Health Center in Farmington, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Morey was driving a 2007 Pontiac G6 eastbound on 705 Route NN in St. Francois County when the accident occurred at 9:07 a.m.

According to the report, he was traveling too fast for the icy conditions and went off the right side of the road, returned to the road and crossed the left side, struck a tree and overturned.

Morey was wearing a seat belt, the report stated.

 

Centerville woman receives minor injuries

A Centerville woman received minor injuries in a one-car accident that occurred  Sunday, January 13, in Reynolds County.

Joyce M. Santhuff, 59, was taken by ambulance to Parkland Medical Center in Farmington, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Santhuff was a passenger in a 2015 Ford Edge driven by Carl S. Santhuff, 58, also of Centerville.

The accident occurred at 1 p.m. on Missouri Route N, two miles north of Lesterville.

According to the report, Carl Santhuff was driving southbound on Route N when he ran off the roadway and hit a driveway embankment.

It is unknown whether either Santhuff was wearing a seat belt.

 

Bismarck man injured

A Bismarck man received moderate injuries when his car struck a utility pole.

Ronald L. Cole, 22, of Bismarck was taken by ambulance to Parkland Health Center in Farmington, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at 6:41 p.m. on Saturday, January 12 in St. Francois County.

Cole was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Impala westbound on Pimville Road west of Ridgetop Drive, when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned and struck a utility pole, the report stated.

He was not wearing a seat belt.

 

Fredericktown man hurt in one-car accident

A Fredericktown man received moderate injuries when his car struck a tree.

Kaylon A. Bryant, 22, of Fredericktown was taken by private vehicle to Madison Medical Center, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Bryant was driving a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta southbound on Missouri Route H, two miles north of Fredericktown, when his car slid off the left side of the road and struck a tree, the report stated.

The accident occurred at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, in Madison County.

Bryant was not wearing a seat belt, the report stated.

 

Caledonia woman injured

A Caledonia woman received minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Sunday, January 6 in Franklin County.

Linda V. Civey, 69, of Caledonia, was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Washington, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol

The accident occurred a 6:40 a.m. on Missouri Highway 47, North of College Road.

Civey was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado northbound on the highway when her vehicle travelled off the east side of the roadway and struck two mailboxes.

Civey was wearing a seat belt, the report stated.
