Delphia Delores Flaker

Delphia Delores Flaker, formerly of Pilot Knob, passed away on Feb. 24, 2019 in Viburnum.  She was 97.

She was born on March 15, 1921 in Bixby, the daughter of the late Matthew and Ava (Stricklin) Faulkner.

Delphia was preceded in death by all of her siblings, three brothers, Bernard Faulkner, Maynard Falkner, and Roy Faulkner; and two sisters, Owsha Adams and Hazel Parker.  She was also preceded by her niece, Candace Faulkner; two brothers-in-law, Frank Adams and Winfred Parker; and her sister-in-law, Jerri Faulkner Reifer.

Delphia is survived by her nieces and nephews, Earl Parker, Ricky Parker, Joan Faulkner, Judy Faulkner, Randy Faulkner, Debbie Faulkner, Dale Adams and Gene Adams; and her sister-in-law, Jean Faulkner also survives.

Delphia worked for 36 years as a secretary for the Humane Society in St. Louis.  She loved animals.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

A memorial visitation was be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 beginning at 3 p.m. at Bryson Funeral Home Chapel.  Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or the Stupid Strong Foundation at  www.stupidstrong.org.
