Annapolis man seriously injured

An Annapolis man was seriously injured in a one-car car crash that occurred Tuesday, July 2, in Reynolds County.

Christopher L. Deboard, 32, was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at 10:45 a.m. on County Road 468, five miles from Piedmont.

According to the report, Deboard was a passenger and an unknown person was driving a 2010 Jeep Patriot eastbound on the roadway. The driver attempted to negotiate a curve, lost control on gravel, travelled off the left side of the road and overturned.

It is unknown whether Deboard was wearing a seat belt.

 

St. Louis teen injured

in crash near Centerville

A St. Louis man received moderate injuries in an all terrain vehicle accident Saturday afternoon in Reynolds County.

Collin M. Davis, 14, was taken by ambulance to Parkland Hospital in Farmington.

The accident occurred at 1:15 p.m. on County Road 802, one mile north of Centerville, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Davis was driving a 2015 Polaris Ranger eastbound on the roadway when he failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

Davis was wearing a seat belt, the report stated.

 

Des Arc teen injured

in ATV accident

A Des Arc teen received minor injuries in an all terrain vehicle accident on July 4 in Madison County.

Michael D. Akins, 15, of Des Arc, was taken by private vehicle to Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at 10:30 a.m. on County Road 447, one-half mile south of Missouri Route FF.

According to the report, Akins was driving a 2017 Polaris Ranger west on the roadway when he lost control, overturned and traveled off the right side.

He was not wearing a seat belt, the report stated.
